Our Story

Captain Trey Mintz is a Wilmington native who grew up around the water, which cultivated his love for boating. Several summer days were spent on the water with family, and his uncle instilled in him a passion for docking, maneuvering, and navigating the waters.

After High School, Trey married his wife Anna and started a career in the fire service. During that career, the opportunity arose for Trey to start teaching boat handling skills. This is where he found his passion: to pass on the knowledge and experience he had gained. With such a beautiful and unique location, he wants everyone to be able to share their love of the water safely.

Trey and Anna have been married for 13 years and have two awesome little boys who love the water, too. We want every family to experience the unique opportunities we have living in southeastern North Carolina.
